Size guide;
Small = UK 10, 26" waist
Medium = UK 12, 28" waist
Large = UK 14, 30" waist
XL = UK 16, 32" waist
XXL = UK 18, 34" waist
Please note this is a guide only. Due to the intricate nature of the construction of corsets and varying fabrics used and the unique size and proportion of every person, an exact size match can never be guaranteed .
As a guide you should purchase a corset the same size as your usual dress size. The corsets have already been adjusted to accomodate reduction (so in reality if you purchase a size 10/ 26" waist, the corset is designed to be a 24" waisted corset).
Our steel boned corsets are designed to enhance the figure, rediscover and reduce the waist line.
Whilst a waist reduction of around 2 inches may be achieved with our standard corsets, please note they are not suitable for extreme waist reduction or waist training . The corset should never be tightened to such an extent that it becomes impossible to move freely. Also overtightening will lead to an abnormal pressure on the seams and will almost certainly lead to splitting . In such cases no refunds will be given. Only ever tighten the corset until it feels snug. Over time the corset will mould itself to the wearers figure and it may then be tightened further. We recommend that wasit training is never undertaken without proper medical consultation as inappropriate reduction may lead to organ damage.
Corset cup Sizes
Our standard range overbreast corsets are not cup sized. . For greater flexibility, the boning stops just under the cups. As a general guide, an overbreast corset should comfortably accomodate cup sizes ranging from B to D.
Balconette corsets may be better suited to smaller breasted ladies or can be worn as underbreast corsets by those bigger than a D cup. In such an instance the usual balconette corset in fact becomes an underbreast corset.
Corset care
Corsets may be spot cleaned with a lightly damp cloth.
Dry cleaning is a safe method but over frequent dry cleaning will lead to damage of the steel busk front and other parts.
Therefore we recommend only airing after light use.
Always ensure the corset is dry before storing to avoid rusting of parts.
